The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg is one of the world's smallest sovereign states. There is nowhere else like it in Europe where you will find such an outstanding mixture of historic sites with some contemporary architecture. The capital city is one of the institutional seats of the European Union, hosting the Secretariat of the European Parliament and the European Court of Justice.

Luxembourg City is a lively capital city with some great touristic attractions as well as being a modern business centre. It has so much to offer in this small capital including museums, theatres, historical monuments and even a UNESCO World Heritage Fortress in the Old City.

This country but especially their capital is renowned as a green city. Virtually one third of the city has been moulded by beautifully landscaped green spaces.

The cuisine is showcased by a diversity that reflects the country’s position between the Latin and Germanic countries neighbouring it. From the more traditional Germanic dishes to the sophisticated French fare and more recently the newly influenced Italian and Portuguese cuisine showcased by the new immigrants. Considered to be the national dish of Luxembourg is a meat dish called Judd mat Gaardebounen, smoked collar of pork with broad beans. The pork is soaked overnight and then boiled with vegetables and spices. Not to be outdone are the Michelin rated gastronomy with their unique experiments in symphonic diversity. Why not come and discover this little gem in the Benelux.
