Day 3: Inverness
Starting with a walking tour this morning we explore the historic city of Inverness. Free time after lunch and a chance to venture around the city. Explore the eclectic mix of shops in the Victorian Market or perhaps discover the historic buildings in the Old Town. Take a stroll to Inverness Castle and marvel at St Andrews Cathedral on the lush green banks of the River Ness. Finish with a leisurely walk from the castle, alongside the River through to the Ness Islands to watch the fishermen casting their long lines to leaping Atlantic salmon. Overnight: Inverness.
Day 4: Loch Ness, Plockton & Isle of Skye
Discover the world famous Loch Ness and try to spot the Loch Ness Monster on a morning visit, before moving swiftly on to the harbourside village of Plockton for our pre-lunch entertainment. Having enjoyed a delicious seafood lunch and a quick wander around the pretty painted cottages which frame the waterside, our final drive is to the Isle of Skye for a two night stay. Overnight: Isle of Skye.

Day 5: Isle of Skye
The Isle of Skye provides Highland scenery on an epic scale, from sensational seascapes to misty ancient lochs there are plenty of photographic opportunities. Visiting the extraordinary Quiraing with its dark velvety green slopes and craggy hilltops and on to the aptly named Kilt Rock we finally get the chance to marvel at the pinnacle of rock known as the Old Man of Storr. Overnight: Isle of Skye.

Day 6: Isle of Skye, Fort William & Isle of Mull
Another day of discovery starts on the Isle of Skye and journeys through the soul-stirring Scottish scenery as we travel onwards to Fort William. Based on the eastern shore of Loch Linnhe and with its magnificent mountain backdrop this is a perfect opportunity to capture more holiday memories. Finally we embark the ferry for a short ride to the Isle of Mull. Overnight: Isle of Mull.
Day 7: Isle of Iona & Isle of Mull
Island hopping is by far the best way to see the Hebrides and so off we go! Starting our adventures in the quaint little village of Fionnphort on the Isle of Mull we swiftly set sail on a voyage of discovery to Iona for a chance to explore the Iona Abbey and the Augustinian Nunnery. Returning to Mull we pay a visit to Duart Castle and the ancient home of the MacLean clan. Discover the grand stately interiors and the dark empty dungeons. Clinging to a cliff face this craggy fortress lays claim to being the oldest inhabited castle on the island. As the sun sets we return to the hotel to share a final dinner together. Overnight: Isle of Mull.

Day 8: Stirling & Edinburgh
All aboard as we take to the sea armed with many memories from our stay and say a fond farewell to the Isle of Mull. Onwards to the medieval town of Stirling situated on the banks of the River Forth our journey takes us to the golden hilltop castle. Stirling Castle is steeped in royal history dating back to the early 1500’s and the reign of James IV. The lavishly decorated castle provides the perfect way to finish our tour before we journey back towards Edinburgh.
