Located at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail hill range, the vineyard covers an area of 12km², the wines produced belong to the Crus of the southern Côtes du Rhône. The Grenache noir expresses its full flavour in glimmering red wines with pronounced tannins, a robust body, and a solid propensity for ageing Continuation to the following destination, the famous vineyard of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The ruins of the Pope's formal summer residence dominate the typical medieval village. The 13 varieties of grapes combined with the various soils create a large palette of complex red wines and elegant white wines. Breakfast at the hotel. At 09:00am you depart from Avignon to Roussillon, built at the top of an ochre cliff and providing visitors with a beautiful understanding of the harmonious combination of man and nature and of ochre and stone; with
all these ochre-washed facades. Continuation toward Gordes which is a village erected on the top of a cliff, its fortified castle and church dominate the typical houses of the village which were built with stones from the rock on which they are fitting. Drive to Fontaine de Vaucluse, walk up to the cave from which the River Sorgues emerges.
