Day 1 (Saturday): Arrival to Sarajevo
Upon your arrival at Sarajevo Airport transfer to the hotel for check-in.
For over 400 years, mosques, synagogues, Orthodox and Roman Catholic churches have been built and have stood side by side amidst Sarajevo, thus giving the city its unique feel and adding to the Sarajevo image of being the "European Jerusalem". Tonight, enjoy a Welcome drink with your fellow travellers.
Day 2 (Sunday): Sarajevo
Join a local guide for a guided walking tour of the City's old town, past the largest mosque in the Balkans, the Eternal Flame and the Sarajevo Roses that are dotted across the city as a stark reminder of the turmoil Sarajevo endured just a few decades ago. Variety of cultures and religions, as well as three contrasting components of the town from former times are sufficient reasons for visiting Sarajevo. In the heart of the city, one finds the famous Sarajevo's old bazaar, Baščaršija from the Turkish period, where you can see various handicrafts of metal, stone, wood, glass, wool and leather. Sarajevo is famous for its museums, bridges, sports centres, mosques (visit Gazi-Husrevbey Mosque), Orthodox and Catholic Churches and many other significant highlights.
