Across Europe from Budapest

ITINERARY

Visit: Budapest, Bratislava, Vienna, Wachau, Nuremberg, Cologne, Utrecht, Amsterdam

This cruise spans 2,000 kilometers across Europe, from Budapest, the so-called “Queen of the Danube” to Amsterdam at the North Sea.  Highlights of the cruise include the passage through the Rhine-Main-Danube canal, visits to numerous capital cities, unique landscapes such as the myth-enshrouded Lorelei rock, the “Schlögener Schlinge” below Passau, the picturesque Wachau region, and the Danube-knee at Visegrad (the Hungarian Wachau).

You will also see imposing architectural buildings along the banks of the rivers, such as Melk Abbey and the Esztergom Basilica, high above the Danube — both witnesses of several hundred years of European history. This cruise is a fascinating trip through Europe’s heritage of art and culture.
