ITINERARY

Visit: Madrid, Avila, Salamanca, Porto, Coimbra, Fatima, Batalha, Nazare, Alcobaca, Lisbon, Caceres, Cordoba, Seville, Granada, Valencia, Barcelona, Zaragoza, Madrid

Day 1 (Tuesday): Madrid - Avila - Salamanca - Porto

Departure from the bus terminal, located in the underground parking of the Plaza de Oriente at 08:30am. Drive to Avila, where we will have a short stop to see its walled old town. Then on to Salamanca. Enjoy your free time in this University City, Heritage of Humanity of great architectural and artistic wealth. Departure to the Portuguese border until you reach Porto, where you will stay overnight.

Day 2 (Wednesday): Porto

After breakfast have a panoramic sightseeing tour of Porto, considered World Heritage city. We admire the Cathedral, Stock Exchange building and Santa Clara church. In the afternoon, there is the possibility of an optional visit to a famous winery with tasting of its world famous “port wine”. Otherwise, enjoy your free time and stay overnight in Porto.

Imperial Cities Express, Morocco from Costa del Sol

ITINERARY

Visit: Costa Del Sol, Tarifa, Tangier, Rabat, Casablanca, Marrakech, Meknes, Fez, Tangier, Tarifa, Costa del Sol

Day 1 (Friday): Costa del Sol - Tarifa - Tangier - Rabat -  Casablanca

Drive along the picturesque tourist route of Costa del Sol, arrive in Tarifa where a ferry boat will be used for a short and interesting crossing of the strait of Gibraltar towards Africa. Arrival to Tangier. Disembark, clear customs and drive southwards via Larache to Rabat, the diplomatic and administrative capital and official residence of the King Mohamed VI. The City tour will visit important sights and examples of the Almohade architecture as the Royal Palace from outside, Mohamed V Mausoleum and the unfinished Hassan Tower. Afterwards departure to Casablanca, the current industrial and economic capital and the most populated city housing 10% of the countries population. Enjoy your time at leisure and then have Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

Day 2 (Saturday): Casablanca - Marrakech

Breakfast at the hotel. Panoramic city tour through the most interesting sections of the city: Anfa boulevard, Nations square, residential areas and a visit from the outside of the Hassan II grand mosque. Departure towards Marrakech, the capital of the South, which is located within an extensive oasis between the Atlas Mountains and the pre-desertic area. Enjoy your City sightseeing, including the Koutoubia Tower, the Saadines Tombs and Bay Palace. Walk around the medina, souks and the magic Jma El Fna Square, which is packed with fortune tellers, snake tamers, acrobats, dancers, all making the centre of the city an open-air theatre that requires the participance of the audience. So don't forget your camera. Optional dinner and show at Chez Ali Fantasia. Accommodation at the hotel.

The Imperial Cities from Costa del Sol

ITINERARY

Visit: Costa del Sol, Fez, Meknes, Marrakech, Casablanca, Rabat, Larache, Tangier, Costa del Sol

Day 1 (Sunday): Costa del Sol - Fez

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive along the picturesque tourist route of Costa del Sol via internationally renowned places as Marbella and Puerto Banus, arrive Algeciras or Tarifa where a ferry boat will be used for a short and interesting crossing of the strait of Gibraltar towards Africa. Arrival to Morocco. Disembark, clear customs and continue on by bus via Larache to Fez, the most monumental one of the Imperial Cities with its University of "Karaouyne", the largest Islamic sanctuary in Morocco. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

Day 2 (Monday): Fez

Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a morning city tour visiting the most interesting points: the 7 gates of the Royal Palace, Jewish Quarters or Mellah, the gate of Bab Bou Jelous and walking tour of the “Medina” (Old City), declared World Heritage Site. The Afternoon is free. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel. Optional dinner with a show.

Andalusia and Morocco

ITINERARY

Day 1 (Thursday): Madrid - Cordoba - Seville

Departure from the bus terminal, located in the underground parking of the Plaza de Orienteat 08:30am. Drive along La Mancha, Don Quixote’s land with a brief stop at a typical site in Puerto Lapice. Cross through the natural border of “Despeñaperros” and get into Andalusia, a region for itself that shows an enormous heritage from a splendorous past. Reach Cordoba and enjoy an impressive tour of its Mosque and other sites that will ease your mind and spirit strolling through its narrow winding streets of the Jewish Quarter. In the afternoon, after a short two hours ride, reach Seville. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

Day 2 (Friday): Seville

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning panoramic city tour visiting: the exterior of the Cathedral (the second largest in the Catholic world after St. Peters in Rome), Santa Cruz quarter (a natural scenario of “Carmen” also precisely where the myth of “Don Juan” was developed), Maria Luisa Park and Plaza de España. The afternoon is at leisure for you to discover exclusive views and specific flavours of this active city full of lights. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel. Optional Flamenco tour.
